Janet Wallace’s career in the legal field is a testament to her dedication to helping others. From her beginnings as a high school intern at a law firm—where she first connected with Bob and Travis—to her integral role at Johnson Jensen since its founding in 2011, Janet has consistently focused on advocating for those injured by someone else’s negligence.
Janet’s journey from accounting to law was driven by her genuine passion for supporting clients during some of the most challenging times in their lives. She is deeply committed to helping clients find closure after traumatic events, providing attentive care and navigating the complexities of personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice cases. A cornerstone of her work is her regimented approach to organizing the intricate puzzle of medical bills, a skill that has become one of the most valuable services for her clients and colleagues.
In 2017, Janet earned her law degree from the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law and was sworn into the Indiana bar. She also participated in the Indianapolis Bar Association Bar Leadership Class XIX, highlighting her commitment to leadership within the legal community. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Janet has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Marion County, where she represented the best interests of children involved in the Department of Child Services system.
Janet lives in Perry Township with her husband, children, and multiple pets (including her beloved pet turtle). Outside of work, she enjoys attending her kids’ sporting events, playing card games, traveling on weekend adventures, and spending quality time with her family. Her unwavering dedication to her clients, her community, and her family exemplifies the compassionate culture at Johnson Jensen.
