Hard to believe it’s been half a decade since we founded Johnson Jensen. As we look back over the past five years, we feel a profound sense of gratitude for all we’ve been able to accomplish and all of the individuals we’ve worked with along the way.
We got into this business because we wanted to help people. And for a long time now, we’ve been able to do just that—representing clients who needed support, developing friendships with legal colleagues, and being part of the Indianapolis community at large.
The two of us had met years before we founded Johnson Jensen. We worked together early in our careers, then our professional lives took different paths. We developed our expertise at separate firms but stayed in touch. We had complementary skill sets and shared a similar approach to serving clients, so we always came back to the idea of opening a firm together.
In 2011, we made the leap and officially opened our doors. At the time, we had more than 30 years of combined law experience, and we were ready to take on the additional challenges of being business owners. Over the years, we have continued to refine our skills at both.
We’ve learned a lot, and in some ways, it’s been much harder than we imagined. But also more rewarding. Each client we’ve helped—that progress keeps us going. We’ve been able to support clients during the hardest seasons of their lives. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with talented, caring staff members and watch them grow.
